Please read the following information carefully regarding shipping, returns, and exchanges.

Shipping

Domestic Orders (Australia)

Australia Post Express Shipping (1–4 business days): 
FREE ON ALL ORDERS WITHIN AUSTRALIA 

Please allow extra shipping time for remote areas.

Business days exclude public holidays.


International Orders

DHL EXPRESS (2-4 business days) shipping calculated at checkout. 

Delivery times may vary depending on customs clearance and local delivery networks. Some remote destinations may take longer.


Processing Times

Please allow 1–2 business days for our team to pick and pack your order.

Orders are shipped Monday to Friday from our warehouse on the Gold Coast, Australia.


Duties & Taxes

Orders shipped within Australia are not subject to additional duties or taxes.

International orders may incur local customs fees, import duties, or taxes imposed by your country’s customs authority. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

AF THE LABEL is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance processes and cannot guarantee replacement or refunds for parcels held or delayed by customs.


Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email containing your Australia Post tracking details.
Tracking updates are available via the Australia Post tracking portal.

If you do not receive your tracking email, please contact hello@afthelabel.com.au


Lost or Stolen Parcels

Once a parcel has been lodged with Australia Post, responsibility for delivery rests with the carrier. However, we will assist customers in accordance with Australian Consumer Law if a parcel is confirmed lost in transit.

If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact Australia Post directly using your tracking number.

If Australia Post confirms that your parcel has been lost or stolen, please provide official confirmation to hello@afthelabel.com.au and we will arrange a replacement where appropriate.


Return to Sender / Unclaimed Parcels

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, unclaimed delivery, or refusal, a return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund or store credit:

  • $10 for Australian orders

  • $40 for International orders


Returns & Exchanges

We hope you love your AF THE LABEL pieces. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

General Policy

We do not offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect size selection.
Eligible items may be returned for exchange or store credit only, provided they meet the following conditions:

  • Returned within 14 days of receiving your order

  • Unworn, unwashed, and in original condition

  • All tags and hygiene stickers intact

  • Returned with proof of purchase

Store credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


Swimwear & Beachwear

Exchanges or store credit are available within 14 days of receiving your order.

Items must be unworn, unwashed, and returned in original condition with all tags and hygiene stickers intact.

For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept swimwear or beachwear that shows signs of wear, has been washed, or is missing tags or hygiene stickers.


Jewellery

Exchanges or store credit are available within 14 days of receiving your order.

Items must be unworn, in original packaging, and in original condition.

For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned unless deemed faulty.


Skincare

For health and safety reasons, skincare items cannot be returned unless faulty or damaged.

If your skincare product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos and your order number.


Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact hello@afthelabel.com.au within 48 hours of receiving your order.

Please include clear photos and your order number. Our team will assess the issue and arrange a replacement, store credit, or refund where required under Australian Consumer Law.


How to Return

  1. Email hello@afthelabel.com.au with your order number and reason for return.

  2. Once approved, we will provide return instructions.

  3. Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty.

We recommend using Australia Post with tracking. AF THE LABEL is not responsible for parcels lost in transit when being returned.


Processing Time

Please allow up to 5 business days after your return is received for processing.
You will receive an email confirmation once your exchange or store credit has been issued.


Final Sale Items

Items marked as Final Sale or purchased during promotional periods are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit unless deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law.
